Job Title: Assembler Closer

Shift: 2nd & 3rd

Pay Range: Hire Rate - $19.62; Job Rate - $20.55

In this role, you will be working inside a thriving and growing manufacturing facility that designs, tests, produces, and ships Door Closers, Door Controls, and Electromechanical Door Controls used in Hospitals, Schools, Churches, Sports Arenas, Hotels, and large Institutional buildings.  Our facility is a dynamic and fast-paced work environment with many possibilities to make a difference and add value to the business. The team members are open minded and result oriented, always looking out for each other as well as working to reach personal, team and company goals. Everyone is important to building success.

What you will be doing?

You will:

• Comply with all plant safety regulations and company policies.
• Work following detailed assembly procedures with defined hand movements outlined by prescribed industrial engineering methods including simple sub-assemblies.
• Use of simple machines such as pneumatic cylinders, pulse guns, pneumatic screwdrivers and hand tools.
• Assemble surface mount closers using both manual and automated processes while meeting production requirements.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate:

• Must be a team player in the cell group.
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
• Must be quality conscious and have a commitment to details.
• Must maintain good housekeeping practices.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40lbs.

Also, we believe the ideal candidate:

• Has 3 years or more of previous experience working in a manufacturing environment assembling metal components. 
• Is used to working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meeting high production and quality standards. 
• Takes great pride in your work and set high expectations for yourself and others. 
• Always meets or exceeds requested production numbers. 
• Always produces quality products. 
• Is always at work as expected and is never late. 
• Has a very high sense of urgency and truly embraces lean manufacturing, 5S, On Time Delivery, and is customer-focused.
