The Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable professional to manage full-cycle, high-volume, multi-currency AP processing for our U.S. and Canadian operations. In this role, you will ensure invoice accuracy and compliance with corporate policies, actively follow up on outstanding or non-compliant invoices, and maintain accurate records and reports. You'll serve as a key point of contact for internal and external inquiries, requiring strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration. Additional responsibilities include reconciling corporate credit card reports in line with travel and expense policies and supporting process improvements across the Finance team. This position will report to the Accounts Payable Manager.

 

Key Responsibilities:                                 

  • Process high volume, multi-currency, full cycle Accounts Payables for US and Canada.  
  • Reviewing / matching invoices to ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Pro-active follow up on registered and non-compliant invoices in a     timely manner.
  • Handles all internal and external inquiries with the ability to effectively communicate on all levels.
  • Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and   Accounts Payable files.
  • Works closely with Finance and branch personnel to resolve issues and improve process flow.
  • Reconciles all corporate credit card reports for accuracy and adherence to AAES T & E policy.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

What You Will Need:

Academic Profile:                     

  • High school diploma (required)
  • AA degree (preferred)
  • Undergraduate degree (helpful, but not required)

Experience Profile:                   

  • Three – five years high volume Accounts Payables experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines while working in a time sensitive environment.
  • Proven strong customer focus with experience in a role working with multiple personalities.

Other Requirements:                

  • Computer ability: Outlook, Word, Excel, and Accounts Payable Baan experience (preferred).
  • Self-motivated, problem solver, capable of managing multiple entities.
  • Ability to adapt to change with a positive attitude.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • High-energy, results-oriented approach with strong follow up skills.
  • Ability to take direction well
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Reliable and disciplined.
