As we embark on our next phase of growth, we are seeking a talented Manufacturing Plant Manager to oversee our production facility and drive operational excellence.

 

**Responsibilities:**

- Lead all aspects of the manufacturing plant's operations, including production, quality control, maintenance, and safety protocols, to ensure efficient and high-quality production of garage doors.

- Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize production processes, reduce costs, and enhance product quality, aligning with Amarr's standards of excellence.

- Provide leadership and guidance to a dedicated team of supervisors, engineers, and production staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, and sales, to streamline processes, address challenges, and meet production targets.

- Champion continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, to drive operational efficiencies and minimize waste.

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze performance data, and implement corrective actions to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe and sustainable work environment.

- Manage budgetary constraints effectively, optimizing resource allocation and cost control measures while maintaining operational excellence.

 

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field

- Minimum of 10+ years in manufacturing

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience leading manufacturing teams of more than 50 people in a leadership role, preferably within the building materials industry.

- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies, with a focus on lean principles and continuous improvement.

- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented mindset.

- Proficiency in budget management, financial analysis, and strategic planning.

- Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing software applications is advantageous.
