Shipping/Receiving Clerk

The Mississauga Warehouse is considering candidates for a Shipper/Receiver position.

 

The Shipper/Receiver will be responsible for overseeing inventories to ensure accuracy and availability for the Service and DA Teams.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Maintaining daily count schedule and updating Baan with count adjustments as needed (some part numbers may be stored in multiple locations)
  • Verifying quoted order locations for approved service quotes as needed
  • Update the OneNote pages to advise of parts readiness
  • Update the OneNote pages to advise of parts needing to be ordered
  • Maintaining inventory part number Location spreadsheet
  • Submit parts restocking purchase orders with the factory
  • Maintaining the parts room neat and well organized
  • Maintaining the warehouse neat and well organized and safe
  • Performing receiving duties of various materials and glass (will require obtaining forklift certification)
  • Verifying accuracy of Baan inventory when deemed necessary

 

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Self-motivated with desire to learn and make improvements
  • Quality conscious with high degree of accuracy
  • Must have at least one year of experience working in manufacturing environment
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
  • Must have some ERP/Microsoft Office computer experience
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
