Marketing Specialist – Wesko Locks

We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to support the development and execution of marketing programs, communications, and brand assets that drive our business forward. The person in this role will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate, consistent messaging and a strong market presence.
This position reports to the General Manager and is based on-site in Mississauga, Ontario.
What will you be doing
- Develop, implement, and maintain Wesko’s website and social media presence in alignment with corporate standards
- Create and maintain core marketing materials including brochures, presentations, templates, and other brand assets
- Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
- Support product launches and promotional activities aligned with business priorities
- Translate technical product information into clear, customer-facing messaging
- Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all materials and platforms
- Collaborate with sales, technical teams, and external vendors
- Analyze market trends and report on marketing performance
- Support trade shows, customer events, and industry activities
- Maintain knowledge of Wesko products and markets
- Perform additional duties as required
What are we looking for
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing or communications (B2B/manufacturing an asset)
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
- Experience managing website/content
- Familiarity with email platforms, analytics tools, CRM systems is an asset
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Additional Requirements
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Occasional travel (5–10%) may be required

Compensation
This posting is to fill a vacant role. Compensation for this role is $60,000– $75,000 per year (based on experience). We may use technology-assisted or automated tools to support parts of the recruitment process; all hiring decisions are made by our team.
