Great news! We’re currently seeking a Business Analyst to be based at our Mississauga, Ontario office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex Backlog Refinement (BLR) sessions with stakeholders to gather, refine, and structure requirements
- Translate business needs into high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
- Act as a senior point of contact for requirement clarification across UI/UX, Architecture, and Engineering teams
- Collaborate with UI/UX teams to validate user journeys, flows, and functional alignment
- Partner closely with Architects to ensure requirements are feasible, scalable, and aligned with system design
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and dependencies across requirements and proactively address them
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior Business Analyst
- Ensure adherence to established processes, templates, and documentation standards
- Support cross-project alignment by promoting consistency in requirement structure and approach
- Act as an escalation point for complex or high-impact requirement discussions
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development environments
- Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation
- Proven ability to handle complex, ambiguous requirements and drive clarity
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including UI/UX, Architecture, and Engineering
- Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, MIRO
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and backlog management
- Strong analytical thinking with ability to identify edge cases and dependencies
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to guide discussions and drive alignment across multiple teams
Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
- Experience with access control systems, identity management, or security-related domains
- Exposure to system architecture concepts and API-driven systems
- Experience mentoring or leading other Business Analysts
- Familiarity with UX design principles and artifacts (user flows, wireframes)
- Experience working in a multi-project or program environment

The estimated expected salary range for this role is $80K - 100K per annum plus bonus.
