Ceco Door is looking to add a 2nd Shift Manufacturing Manager to our team. This is an on-site role that is based out of our manufacturing facility based in Milan, Tennessee (hours are 3 pm to 11:30 pm).

 

What would you do as a Manufacturing Manager?

You will play an integral role for 2nd shift operations to plan, direct, and coordinate work activities for operations in accordance with cost, quality, and quantity specifications. 

 

You would also:

  • Responsible to support, guide and coach team performance improvements of product quality, safety, productivity, customer service, scrap, rework, cost reductions, and employee growth.
  • Develop, monitor and make necessary changes to determine an optimal schedule for the production lines that will satisfy productivity and Customer Service objectives
  • Achieve ongoing improvements of quality, productivity, and customer service through employee involvement and teamwork
  • Coordinate to ensure safe work environment and team support and adherence to safe work techniques and practices
  • Administer company policies and enforce company rules and regulations.
  • Administer disciplinary procedures
  • Keep machinery and equipment in peak production condition working with Maintenance, Tool Room, etc. 
  • Provide or secure technical assistance at each operation as needed.
  • Participate in the development of and operate within budget guidelines
  • Plan, maintain, and achieve production schedules.  Keep abreast of workload at key work centers to ensure maximum production capacity is being utilized when needed
  • Keep records of orders, work-in-process, and completed orders.  Determine status of all work behind schedule, back orders, in or repairs, etc.
  • Actively support EEO and other business needs/requirements
  • Direct supervision of subordinates
  • Plan and organize team meetings with other team members to discuss safety, analyze problem areas, clarify company policies, performance goals and further enhance associate/management communication channels and relationship
  • Keep overtime and absenteeism to a minimum
  • Keep appropriate records
  • Promote good housekeeping
  • Communicate with other Production Managers and support personnel as appropriate throughout the plant
  • Quickly respond to customer service complaints
