Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

Ceco Door, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is adding a Maintenance Technician to our team This role will be based on-site at our manufacturing facility located in Milan, Tennessee and will be for our 3rd Shift.

What would you do as our Maintenance Technician?

In this role you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing maintenance and preventative maintenance associated with our manufacturing operations.

 

You will also:

  • Perform maintenance inspections and ensure all machinery and equipment is maintained in good operating condition. This may include electrical, air, water, gas, steam and wastewater systems.
  • If an issue arises, determine root cause of trouble and fix machinery. This may include air compressors, air conditioning, air dryers, pumps, boilers, clutches and brakes, as well as lubricating, paint, hydraulic and pneumatic, and conveyor systems.
  • Adjust equipment and test or calibrate sensors and controls.
  • Responsible for helping to inventory supplies and/or recommending parts to be ordered.
  • Ensure that all records of machine repairs and lockouts are maintained and filed.
  • Ensure that all repairs are done in compliance and to code.
  • Perform special assignments and projects as assigned.
  • Maintain a safe and harmonious working environment holding self and others accountable to OSHA and ASSA ABLOY standards.
  • Assure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate policies, regulations, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct

 

The skills and experience you need:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent / Industrial Maintenance training or certification preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relatable experience coupled with a stable work history.
  • Previous experience troubleshooting equipment such as hydraulic and pneumatic systems and PLC technology.
  • Familiarity with reading and understanding blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technology and equipment.
  • Physically capable of walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds for a high percentage of your workday.
  • Ability to work overtime, as needed.
