Senior Manager Aftermarket Sales

APS Resource is looking for a Sr. Manager Aftermarket Sales for our high-Performance doors and dock equipment. This role is based in Mequon, WI and will involve up to 40% travel.
What you will be doing
- Develop short and long-term sales objectives and plans that will significantly grow our market share.
- Directly supervise and mentor the Regional Sales Managers.
- Manage and oversee the assigned distributors to achieve targeted sales growth objectives.
- Recommend improves for Distributor performance.
- Set/establish Regional Sales Managers annual targets.
- Direct and monitor our national accounts initiative for successful sales results.
- Sells consultatively and makes recommendations to prospective customers of various solutions .
- Develop sales/marketing tools that will raise the aftermarket product awareness of our distributors.
- Create annual budgeting/sales plan.
- Keep up to date on competitive products and strategies in the marketplace
- Promote sales and a positive attitude to customers and distributors.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related field or 5 to 7 years of industry outside sales experience with a proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience managing a sales team (3+ years), with demonstrable success in leading, motivating, and developing salespeople.
- Experience in setting and executing sales strategies, understanding market trends, and using data to make decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools for managing pipelines and tracking performance.
- Strong negotiation skills and a track record of closing deals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Skills in building and maintaining long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Ability to pivot strategies and adapt to changing markets or customer needs.
