Manager, Plant
The Warehouse Manager provides leadership, motivation, and guidance to operations including customer service, assembly, purchasing, engineering, technical support, and warehouse operations to enhance and maintain high service levels to customers, to improve overall costs, and quality of company products and services.
What will you be doing:
- Lead, plan, and manage all aftermarket activities and related functions at the facility including customer operations, assembly, purchasing, engineering, technical support, and warehouse operations to ensure safety and quality and to meet and exceed customer and Company requirements.
- Understand and execute all facility policies and procedures.
- Lead development and management of annual plan, budget, key measures, operating efficiency, and cost control.
- Act as key contact for customers and local industry groups.
- Manage and direct staff in assigned group with a focus on equipment, processes, human resource allocation, cost management, setting priorities, removing roadblocks, and leading through problem identification and resolution, and implementation of short- and long-term corrective actions to aftermarket facility operational problems.
- Conduct monthly meetings with employees to communicate the state of business.
What are we looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations management, supply chain, or related.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant leadership experience as a manager.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- Experience working with integrated computer programs and/or applications.
- Advanced/intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
- Travel up to 25% of the time to visit customers, suppliers, and other 4Front sites.
