IT Specialist
The IT Specialist ensures business processes and supporting systems continue to meet business project stakeholder needs. This position is vital to the operations team's success, ensuring seamless production with minimal to no downtime.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure day-to-day operations run effectively and efficiently. Which includes but is not limited to:
- Laptops, desktops, and tablets
- Cell phones and desk phones
- Document Printers, Label Printers, and Xerox MFPs
- Handheld RF Mobile Computers
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on client systems.
- Server, laptop, and PC patching
- Maintain existing IT infrastructure and process documentation.
- Discipline to use tools for incident and service request management (ServiceNow)
- Provide exceptional customer service and technical support for on-site users
- Resolve issues or ensure timely escalation to appropriate support level.
- Oversee the integrity and security of IT systems, ensuring they meet organizational needs.
- Provide advanced support for desktop and laptop computers, applications, and related technology.
- Lead IT projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with business goals.
Education Requirements, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
2 – 3 Years of IT Support Experience - Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong Time management and organizational skills
- Windows 10
- Microsoft Office 2016, Office 365
- Windows Server 2012/2016
- Working knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy
- Knowledge of smartphones and MDM solutions
- PC and server hardware knowledge
- Familiarity with VMware vSphere and ESXI a plus
- Familiarity with Nutanix HCI a plus
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Azure a plus
- Familiarity with CCTV and Access Control Systems a plus
- Excellent customer service skills - ability to interact with all levels in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner
- Unquestionable ethics with proven ability to deal with a high level of confidentiality
- Must be available to work weekends and off hours on occasion
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and exhibit a strong sense of urgency
