Business Development Representative, Industrial RTLS

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will play a key role in building the early stages of our sales pipeline by identifying potential customers, engaging prospects, and creating qualified opportunities for our global sales team.

This role sits at the intersection of sales and marketing. Your mission will be to combine inbound lead management with targeted outbound outreach across priority market segments, translating marketing interest into meaningful sales conversations. You will engage prospects through multichannel campaigns, follow up on leads generated through marketing initiatives and events, and schedule discovery calls that move opportunities forward.

Success in this role requires both a sales-oriented mindset and a strong understanding of modern marketing-driven prospecting. You will work closely with Sales and Marketing teams and use modern prospecting tools and automation to continuously refine our outreach strategies and improve the effectiveness of HID’s go-to-market efforts.

Your role

  • Process and qualify inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns, events, and digital channels.
  • Schedule introductory calls and discovery meetings for the Global Sales team.
  • Design and execute outbound prospecting campaigns using email, LinkedIn, phone, and other channels.
  • Follow up with prospects generated from conferences, webinars, and other marketing activities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to develop effective business development strategies for key market segments.
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, leads, and opportunities in Salesforce and other tools.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly KPIs related to meeting generation, campaign success, and lead qualification.
  • Continuously improve prospecting workflows using modern sales tools and AI-driven technologies.

 

Your profile

  • 2+ years of experience in a BDR, SDR, MDR, Sales Associate, or similar role in a technology company.
  • Proven experience with outbound prospecting, including cold emailing and follow-up calls with engaged prospects.
  • Comfortable executing multichannel outreach strategies (email, LinkedIn, phone, sequences).
  • Familiarity with lead qualification frameworks such as BANT, MEDDICC, CHAMP, or similar.
  • Experience using CRM and prospecting tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or ZoomInfo.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple campaigns and prospecting activities simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to craft clear, concise outreach messages.
  • Fluent English; Spanish is an advantage.
