This is a full-time, on-site role.

What would you do as our Windows Server Administrator:
Our Windows Server Administrator serves as a senior technical resource for Windows Server infrastructure, virtualization platforms, enterprise storage, and data protection systems. You will design, deliver, and proactively maintain critical business systems while helping ensure availability, security, recoverability, and alignment with corporate IT standards. You will also lead infrastructure modernization initiatives, resolve complex technical issues, and partner with divisional IT, cybersecurity teams, application owners, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
You would also:
• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Administer virtual server platforms, operating systems, and enterprise storage solutions.
• Maintain server availability, performance, capacity, and lifecycle management.
• Develop standards, procedures, and documentation for supported systems.
• Administer VMware environments and high-availability platforms.
• Manage enterprise shared storage platforms and storage connectivity.
• Monitor capacity, utilization, and infrastructure performance.
• Support server provisioning, migrations, upgrades, and lifecycle activities.
• Administer enterprise backup and replication platforms.
• Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies.
• Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and remediation activities.
• Ensure infrastructure aligns with business continuity requirements.
• Execute infrastructure projects and priorities established by multiple IT teams.
• Implement enterprise security, compliance, and architecture standards.
• Serve as a technical liaison between local operations and Divisional IT teams.
• Lead root-cause investigations involving server, virtualization, storage, and application infrastructure.
• Resolve complex technical issues affecting business-critical systems.
• Identify infrastructure risks and implement long-term improvements.
• Provide escalation support for administrators and support technicians.
• Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing.
• Lead technical planning and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
The Skills and Experience You Need:
• 9+ years of progressive experience supporting Windows Server infrastructure in a production environment.
• Expertise with Windows Server, VMware, enterprise storage, and backup technologies.
• Experience supporting business-critical infrastructure in a manufacturing or multi-site environment.
• Strong understanding of disaster recovery, cybersecurity, and infrastructure resiliency.
• Microsoft, VMware, VEEAM, or equivalent infrastructure certifications preferred.
