Curries, an ASSA ABLOY branded company is expanding our Human Resources team and is looking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to support our 700+ employee manufacturing facility in Mason City, IA. This onsite role reports to the HR Manager and partners closely with site leadership and the Director of HR.

What would you do as our Senior Human Resources Generalist?
As a key member of the local HR team, you’ll support the full employee lifecycle while helping drive engagement, compliance, and continuous improvement.
You would also:
- Champion HR programs across recruiting, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, safety, attendance, learning and development, diversity, and employee experience.
- Lead and support onboarding, training, and engagement initiatives, including CARE meetings, surveys, the PEER Program, and related action planning.
- Serve as a trusted partner to leaders and employees by providing day-to-day HR guidance and addressing employee relations matters professionally and confidentially.
- Support full-cycle recruiting and onboarding efforts, helping improve retention and reduce reliance on staffing agencies.
- Analyze HR metrics (KBI/KPI) to identify trends and recommend data-driven improvements.
- Support morale, recognition, and community involvement initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture.
- Partner with HR leadership and cross-functional teams to support process improvement and special projects.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, state and federal regulations, and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct
- Perform other duties and special projects as required.
The Skills and Experience you need:
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or operations environment
- Associate degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. HR certifications a plus
- Experience managing employee relations, leave programs (FMLA, STD, LTD), and confidential information.
- Experience with HRIS and payroll/timekeeping systems (SuccessFactors, ADP, eTime a plus)
- Full-cycle recruiting experience across multiple roles and levels.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing competing priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, collaboration tools (Teams), and emerging AI tools.
- Ability to support flexible schedules and travel occasionally.
