Curries (an ASSA ABLOY brand) located in Mason City, IA is adding a Reliability Manager’s role to our Operations team. This is a newly created role that will be based on-site.

 

 

 

 
What would you do as our Reliability Manager?
You will focus on improving the reliability, efficiency, and safety, as well as the uptime of manufacturing processes and equipment through predictive, preventative and operator based (TPM) maintenance programs, continuous improvement initiatives, and root cause analysis.

 

 
You would also:
  • Develop and implement reliability strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of manufacturing equipment.
  • Lead a team of reliability technicians, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Ensure timely and effective maintenance activities are performed.
  • Implement and manage a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track equipment performance, maintenance activities, and spare parts inventory.
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) investigations to determine the underlying causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Work closely with the operations and engineering teams to design and implement equipment modifications or upgrades that improve reliability and performance.
  • Establish, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to equipment reliability, and maintenance effectiveness.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on reliability performance, maintenance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives that drive improved machine availability.
  • Perform special assignments and projects as assigned.
  • Maintain a safe and harmonious working environment holding self and others accountable to OSHA and ASSA ABLOY standards.
  • Assure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate policies, regulations, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct

 

 
 
The Skills and Experience you need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of seven (7) or more years in reliability engineering, maintenance management, or related role within a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated experience with predictive, preventive, and operator-based maintenance techniques and technologies.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of reliability principles, predictive maintenance applications, and root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software and data analysis tools.
  • Leadership ability, excellent people skills, and the ability to develop relationships and influence all levels within the organization.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
