Curries (an ASSA ABLOY company) is expanding our Team. This role will be based out of our manufacturing facility based in Mason City, Iowa.

 

Curries is a leading manufacturer of steel doors and frames within the commercial market. Catering to such industries as hospitality, healthcare, airports, stadiums, universities and retail industries.

 

What would you do as our Project Manager / eBusiness Project Manager (EPM)?

The Project Manager or eBusiness Project Manager (EPM) facilitates execution of product backlog for our eBusiness platforms. The EPM leverages experience consistent with company standards and industry best practices to develop detailed delivery plans for projects and major enhancements.

 

You would also:

  • Act as an ambassador for the eBusiness platforms and serve as a primary contact for queries related to delivery and status of projects
  • Develop and maintain the strategic product and enhancements roadmap
  • Lead definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Create actionable execution plans for delivery of prioritized backlog items, considerate of cost, resources and organizational expectations
  • Clarify completion criteria for each deliverable and develop acceptance plan
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Manage changes to the project scope, and project schedule using appropriate verification techniques
  • Suggest and implement modifications to project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resources
  • Work across teams, departments and organizations as needed to expedite deliverables, ensuring schedule attainment
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Regularly prepare and present status updates, reports and memoranda related to project progress, problems, and solutions
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Continually promote a safe and harmonious working environment, demonstrating strict adherence to the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct and ASSA ABLOY Health & Safety Policy 

 

 

The Skills and Experience you need:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or 7 years of related work experience
  • Professional project management certification(s) such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Master Project Management Professional (MPM), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), Agile Certified Scrum Master (SCM) and/or Certified Project Manager (CPM) required
  • Previous experience in an Agile Software Development environment desired
  • Knowledge of Agile Scrum and Azure DevOps preferred
  • Working knowledge of product development methods and architecture
  • Functional knowledge of online ordering platforms, EDI and XML based data exchange systems
  • Possess excellent presentation (oral and written communication) skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to audiences of varied experience levels.
  • Advanced computer skills required. Expert knowledge of Microsoft 365, with advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Ability to travel as needed, up to 25%
