Curries (an ASSA ABLOY company) is expanding our Order Management Teams and is hiring a Door Team Lead for Order Processing. This role will be based out of our manufacturing facility located in Mason City, IA.

What would you do as our Door Team Lead, Order Processing?

As a Door Team Lead for Order Processing, you will lead an order management team whom configure engineered to order product, ensuring customer satisfaction, quality and productivity meet or exceed company objectives. You will monitor and communicated performance, ensuring daily, weekly, and monthly goals.

 

You would also:

  • Help maintain the smooth and efficient flow of orders through the team, which may also include performing many functions within the team, as required
  • Act as technical and professional mentor to team members, and serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns and questions
  • Measure, evaluate and work to continuously improve morale, quality and productivity within a team
  • Effectively communicate verbally and in writing, both internally to team members and externally to customers
  • Help identify knowledge gaps, and provide or facilitate proper levels of training for team members as needed
  • Work closely with different levels of the organization, and be comfortable providing recommendations, acting as a change agent, and facilitating development of team members

 

The Skills and Experience you need:

  • High School Diploma or GED / Associate or Bachelor’s degree in general business or management, preferred
  • Previous experience/exposure to working within the Door, Building Materials and/or Hollow Metal industries are highly desirable
  • General understanding of processing and manufacturing operations
  • Previous leadership experience in a fast-paced, professional office environment
  • Ability to learn all functions within the team including Order Processing System, Customer Service skills and coordinating an order
  • Ability to effectively lead others towards achievement of shared objectives
  • Possess excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills preferred (Word, Excel, Internet, email, etc.)
  • Able to work in, and nurture a team environment
