Maintenance Planner

Are you a hands-on Maintenance professional who has experience in a manufacturing or production environment with industrial machinery? Do you enjoy making sure that preventative maintenance is done in a timely fashion to avoid loss of productivity and make sure everyone is safe?

Curries (an ASSA ABLOY company) is looking to hire a Maintenance Planner for our manufacturing facility based in Mason City, Iowa.

You would also:

  • Plan future proactive work for the maintenance craft.
  • Develop and continually improve job plans, preventative maintenance and TPM activities and the follow up work.
  • Work with the maintenance team to update documented maintenance PM’s for all plant equipment and work with Maintenance Manager to eliminate failures through root cause failure analysis.
  • Work with engineers on upcoming projects and plan activities that will include maintenance labor and material with their projects.
  • Update and maintain equipment history records in system and equipment history files.
  • Provide unput and support to maintenance department, purchasing, and parts staff, entering JDE and Fastecrib requisitions.
  • Assure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate governance policies, regulations and laws, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct

 

The Skills and Experience you need:

  • GED or High School diploma required.
  • 5 years of maintenance experience or completion of technical college degree in related field.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Working knowledge of Maintenance Management Systems.
  • Possess analytical and critical thinking skills, demonstrated track-record of collaboration on projects, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with / or establishing a team.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle tasks with competing priorities

Availability to work outside of normal shift as needed
