Curries, an ASSA ABLOY branded company is looking to add a Technical Support / IT Infrastructure Intern to the team! This is an on-site position located at our manufacturing facility in Mason City, Iowa.

What would you do as our Technical Support / IT Infrastructure Intern?
You will provide day-to-day technical support to end users across multiple locations — troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with account and system access, and learning how IT infrastructure operates inside a complex manufacturing environment. In this role, you’ll also gain real-world experience with robotic automation, enterprise-level networking, and global IT collaboration. You’ll receive hands-on mentorship from experienced infrastructure professionals while strengthening your skills in troubleshooting, customer support, and system administration.
You would also:
- Support business system software and hardware, including ERP/iSeries applications, end-user devices, and accounts/access
- Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues in person, by phone, or via remote tools
- Maintain a customer-first mindset while keeping users updated on ticket progress
- Provide ad-hoc training to employees on proper hardware and software usage
- Research end-user issues and recommend effective solutions
- Work with IT team members to escalate issues when needed
- Apply troubleshooting methodologies and document findings
- Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations, AADG policies, and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
The Skills and Experience you need:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum 6 months of IT coursework or hands-on technical support experience
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of Windows laptops/desktops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and productivity tools
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with Windows 10, Windows image deployment, and SCCM is a plus
