Curries (an ASSA ABLOY company) is growing! We are adding a Buyer to our team located in Mason City, Iowa. This is an onsite role that will report to the Supply Chain Manager.

What would you do as our Buyer?
You will develop expertise in procurement, supplier management, inventory planning, and manufacturing operations while working alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced production environment. You will also ensure materials and supplies are available to support daily manufacturing operations.
You would also:
- Create and manage purchase orders for assigned materials and suppliers.
- Coordinate with suppliers to confirm orders, delivery dates, and material availability.
- Monitor open orders and communicate potential supply concerns.
- Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier information within ERP systems.
- Support inventory management activities, including cycle counts and replenishment processes.
- Assist in the analysis of supplier performance and procurement metrics.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, production planning, and other business functions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Learn procurement best practices, sourcing processes, and supplier management techniques
The Skills and Experience you need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, operations, or related business functions.
- Experience with ERP or MRP systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business applications.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Desire to learn, grow, and build a career within a procurement organization.
