What you will be doing:

 

As Regional EAC Campus Manager , you will be responsible primarily for selling and promoting PERSONA and EAC products and solutions through our channel bby calling upon Housing, Security, IT, and Campus Card office Directors in the higher education and K-12 Segments. In this role, you will act as sales support for the DSS Vertical End User Specialist, EMS (Electromechanical Specialists), ISS (Integrated Security Specialist), and Regional Business Development for the sale of intelligent locks and systems (i.e., joint sales and activities).

 

Key areas you will contribute to the role include:

 

  • Sell and promote PERSONA and EAC products and solutions through our channel by calling upon Housing, Security, IT, and Campus Card office Directors in the higher education and K-12 Segments.
  • Act as sales support for the DSS Vertical End User Segment Specialist, EMS (Electromechanical Specialists), ISS (Integrated Security Specialist), and Regional Business Development for the sale of intelligent locks and systems (i.e., joint sales calls and activities).
  • Provide presentations and quotes, attend trade shows, and be the industry expert regarding EAC for your territory within the higher education space.
  • Regularly educate and train key decision-makers at all levels.
  • Update forecasts and funnels, utilize Salesforce to log activity, and collaborate and strategize with colleagues. Cover parts of the Northeast, including Pennsylvania, the southern part of New Jersey, West Virgina, Virginia, Delaware, and Maryland (the individual can be located in either of these states or surrounding cities).

 

What we are looking for:

 

  • You must have a strong understanding of mobile credentials.
  • You have the desire and ability to learn and understand software-driven locks and credentials.
  • You are a self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
  • Relationships with partner Transaction and Housing Companies (i.e., Transact, Atrium, StarRez, RMS, SCT Banner).
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are excited about selling a full range of door opening solutions.
  • You are detail-oriented, organized, and have strong follow-up habits throughout the entire sales cycle.
  • You have strong relationship-building, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • You’re a strong communicator, active listener, and negotiator.
  • You can work independently but believe in teamwork.
  • You have the ability to read, understand specifications/facility standards, and have industry-related technical and sales aptitude.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of work time required.
  • Ability to perform responsibilities both in a home office environment or while traveling.
  • The ideal candidate will be located close to major cities in the above-described territories within 1 hour of a major airport.
  • You can lift/carry up to 50 lbs. of sample and display material for sale presentations.

 

Education and/or experience:

 

  • Your background includes a Bachelor’s degree (preference for specialization in related curricula such as: architectural design/engineering, construction science/management, or similar).
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in access control, software, credentials, and related systems.
  • Experience conducting presentations and training on highly technical and advanced products.
  • Excellent computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office tools).
  • Working knowledge of industry-related softwares is a plus.

 

Special considerations:

 

  • Average sales cycle times can range from 1.5 - 3 years.

Pay within each range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, to primary work job-related knowledge, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, business requirements, geographic location and other business and organizational needs. The salary range is a reasonable estimate for this position at the time of posting.
