As a Technical Manager Access Services , you will provide both line management skills and own the technical developments within the Access service product.    

 

What you would do as our Technical Manager Access Services

 

We want someone who will be responsible for the product system technical engineering of new products comprising App, Backend, components across multiple projects while providing hands-on development experience to your team as needed 

 

You would also:

  • Manage the Access service, product line engineering team, its resources, knowledge, skills, processes, procedures and tools to align with the current and future needs of the business. 

  • Work with product management, project management, EMEIA Core team and global platform stakeholders to devise project engineering resource plans and effort estimation for the delivery of new products and solutions 

  • “Own” the product technical delivery across multiple projects

  • “Own” the product system technical designs across multiple projects

 

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has an Engineering Degree in a related discipline for example; Software Engineering, Systems Engineering or Computer Science.

  • Has significant experience of leading software engineering teams to deliver into complex systems

  • Breadth of exposure across software, APP and Backend technologies with strong experience of at least one discipline

  • Has working experience in at least 1 of the systems engineering sub-disciplines, e.g., system architecting and modelling, interface management and requirements/configuration management

  • Has experience of formal software development methodologies and toolchains, (SAFe, Agile, JIRA/Confluence, GIT, Jenkins)

 

Ideally, you would also have experience working in a multinational company with colleagues in many different countries.
