Product Marketing Manager - Residential Access EMEIA

Are you passionate about driving go-to-market success and shaping how smart home products reach customers across Europe? ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions is looking for a Product Marketing Manager – Smart Residential Locks (EMEIA) to join our team and play a key role in driving growth for the Yale brand.

In this role, you will sit at the intersection of Product, Marketing, and regional teams, ensuring that our smart lock portfolio is successfully positioned, launched, and scaled across diverse markets. You will act as the bridge between global strategy and local execution, working closely with Product Managers, Marketing teams, and regional stakeholders to align priorities and drive results.

You will join a dynamic and growing business area within Smart Residential, where connected devices and smart home solutions play a central role in the future of access. This is a role for someone who enjoys combining strategy with hands-on execution, navigating complexity, and influencing without formal authority. In this role, you’ll thrive in a culture that values engineering excellence, ownership, and continuous learning, empowering you to build a career you can be proud of.

What you will do as our Product Marketing Manager

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will drive go-to-market strategy and execution for our smart lock portfolio across EMEIA, ensuring alignment between central strategy and regional market needs.

You will play a central role in connecting customer insights, product development, and commercial execution, while supporting regional teams with the tools, positioning, and clarity needed to succeed. The role combines strategic direction with hands-on delivery, requiring both structure and adaptability across markets with different levels of maturity.

For example, you would:

  • Own and drive go-to-market activities for launches, updates, and campaigns, ensuring readiness across sales, marketing, and supply, while defining target segments, personas, value propositions, and messaging in collaboration with Marketing and Product Management.
  • Act as the voice of the region and end user by bringing market feedback, trends, and customer insights (VOC) into product development, roadmap discussions, and positioning.
  • Lead and translate customer insight and market data into actionable recommendations that support growth, positioning, and commercial success.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally across Product, Marketing, Sales, and regional teams to ensure alignment, effective execution, and strong collaboration.
  • Support and guide regional teams across EMEIA, adapting ways of working to different market maturity levels and commercial needs.
  • Define and track KPIs for launches and campaigns, analyze performance, and drive continuous post-launch optimization and improvements.
  • Contribute to pricing and forecasting discussions, support customer meetings and events, and act as a key interface between Product Management and regional teams, including product validation, use cases, and launch readiness.

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Several years of experience in Product Marketing, Product Management, or a similar commercial role within consumer products.
  • Strong experience working with go-to-market strategy and execution in an international environment.
  • Experience translating customer insights and market data into actionable commercial strategies.
  • Fluency in English (additional European languages are a plus).
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and data/reporting tools.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders without formal authority.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for different audiences.

The ideal candidate brings a strong commercial mindset combined with a structured and proactive way of working. Experience within Smart Home or connected products is a plus, but a background in consumer-driven businesses is most important. You thrive in a role where you need to navigate complexity, align multiple stakeholders, and balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You are comfortable working in a decentralized environment where markets may have different ways of working, and you enjoy creating clarity and driving alignment.

You are a team player who can also work independently, bringing energy, ownership, and a “can-do” attitude. You are curious, customer-focused, and motivated by turning insights into impactful actions that drive growth.
