We are currently looking for a Platform Developer. 

As a Platform Developer, you will be working with both business stakeholders and IT to deliver a best-in-class digital experience. You will be working in a fast-paced international environment on a modern and well-designed automation product.  

Our Applications & Platforms team’s mission is to help and support process experts in our business functions and operations to build end-to-end digital solutions by the means of AI, automation, integrations, and analytics using modern development models. In our product offering we leverage emerging technologies such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS), and low-code development platforms. In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally with business operations, business analysts and Product Owner to create and optimize workflow processes. You’ll also lead initiatives related to designing and managing AI, process automation projects, testing and fixing bugs.

What you will be doing  

Your role is to develop, test, deploy and support business process automation through the ASSA ABLOY low-code development platforms. Below you’ll find a set of responsibilities for this role:  

  • Provide guidance with process design.  

  • Design, develop, and test automation workflows.  

  • Deploy automation components including bots, robots, development tools, code repositories, and logging tools.  

  • Support the launch and implementation of Digital Products such as AI, Automations, Reports, and Integrations.   

  • Create and support process and end-user documentation.  

  • Assure the quality of the automation (QA processes).  

  • Work with Business Analysts, Process Leads, Product Owners, and other cross-functional resources to define and deliver business impacting projects.  

  • Work directly with stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into technical approaches and designs that can be implemented.  

  • Collaborate with development team members to ensure proper implementation and integration of the solutions.  

 

What we are looking for  

You must be able to balance a steady stream of incoming feature requests against ongoing development and keep all stakeholders informed about the progress.   

You know everything about handling change using tools like JIRA, Confluence and ServiceNow in an enterprise context.  

To be successful in the role, we believe you need the following skill:  

  • 4+ years of experience in software development, including coding or scripting. 

  • Experience working with AI, automation, integration, or platform-based solutions (e.g., low-code, APIs, or similar technologies). 

  • Familiarity with the full development lifecycle, including design, testing (including user acceptance testing), and release management. 

  • Understanding of business process analysis and solution design. 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and balance ongoing development with new requests. 

  • Experience working in structured development environments, using tools for collaboration and change management. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt in a changing environment. 

 

Location 

The role is based in ASSA ABLOY office in Nordenskiöldsgatan 8, Malmö, Sweden. 

 

Terms and conditions 

The role is offered on a temporary, fixed-term employment contract for a period of up to 12 months.
