We’re looking for a detail-oriented Specification Writer – Technical Support to join our team and help shape the future of building security solutions across Australia.

About the Role

As a Specification Writer, you’ll play a key role in supporting architects, distributors, and customers by creating accurate door hardware schedules and providing expert technical advice. You’ll ensure all specifications meet Australian Standards, Building Codes, and client requirements while delivering exceptional customer service.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare detailed and accurate hardware schedules for projects.
  • Interpret construction plans and translate client requirements into tailored solutions.
  • Provide technical support to architectural representatives and customers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams to maximise market share.
  • Monitor competitor activity and share market insights.
  • Attend product training, sales meetings, and industry events as required.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong understanding of Building Codes, Australian Standards, and local regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
  • Comprehensive product knowledge in door hardware and related solutions.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • A proactive approach to customer service and market intelligence.
