The warehouse is operated by our reliable third-party partner, DHL Supply Chain, and is located in Torslanda, Sweden.

What you would do as our Supply Chain Engineer
To succeed in this role, you will lead and participate in operational projects within ASSA ABLOY, driving continuous improvement across warehouse and supply chain processes.
The role involves close, day-to-day coordination and communication with internal stakeholders within ASSA ABLOY, including Sales, Product, and Purchasing as well as with our 3PL partner to secure smooth and reliable operations across the supply chain. In addition, you will ensure effective integration performance, system synchronization, and setup, while facilitating complex system changes.

You would also 

  • Lead and contribute to process development in cooperation with DHL, covering Inbound, VAS, Inventory, and Outbound flows within the Central Warehouse.
  • Drive data-driven improvements with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and cost efficiency.
  • Facilitate and develop Supply Chain competencies through training and knowledge sharing across the organization.
  • Ensure effective communication across the ASSA ABLOY Group while delivering a high level of internal service.
  • Provide second-line support by resolving process and AX system issues and contribute to management reporting and presentations.

 

The skills and experience you need 
We are looking for someone with: 

  • BSc/MSc in Engineering (or equivalent), combined with experience from an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably within mechanical production.
  • Experience working with integration and ERP systems, along with strong proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work in a goal-oriented and results-driven manner.
  • Pragmatic, hands-on approach with a strong sense of urgency and willingness to take ownership and deliver results.
  • Proficiency in English and a Scandinavian language, both spoken and written, with a cooperative and unpretentious working style.
