What you would do as our R&D Manager
In this role, you will drive the development of innovative products that strengthen our growth and expand our market share. As R&D Manager for the Product Line APTUS Electronic Access Control (EAC), you will lead product development and manage a team of seven skilled colleagues. You will also act as project lead for the initiatives your team is working on, ensuring successful delivery from idea to implementation.
You will collaborate closely with another R&D Manager for Aptus, as this solution is the cornerstone of our EAC offering. Aptus plays a key role in growing sales of Electronic Access Control in DAS, contributing significantly to profitability and supporting Nordic BA. We are fully committed to investing in its continued development to meet evolving customer needs and to drive the future growth of both APTUS and DAS EAC.

You would also:
• Lead and develop a team of engineers, fostering collaboration, innovation, and growth.
• Drive product development projects for both new and existing products, from concept to launch, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the right quality.
• Collaborate closely with product management to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, security requirements, and best practices throughout development.
• Promote continuous improvement in ways of working, tools, and processes to boost efficiency and product performance.

 

The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who has:
• 5+ years of experience as a software developer.
• 5+ years of experience in a management role.
• Proficiency in Git, C++, C#.NET.
• Familiarity with Scrum, SAFE and Agile ways of working.
• Fluent in English – both written and oral – Swedish is highly desirable.
