As part of the manufacturing organization, the Manufacturing Assistant is in charge of assembly, testing, and preparation of the electronic assemblies on production floor.
They will work alongside our already established team who are responsible for repairing, testing, and configuring electronic devices in readiness for delivery.
The qualified candidate will evaluate the system specifications and ensures the quality of the products by verifying their conformance to relevant electronic standards and external test house standards before delivery.

As our Manufacturing Technician, you will support HID’s success by:
- Assembly of electronic parts and systems into final products as per established procedures.
- Functional testing of products built within the manufacturing line.
- Responsibility to follow established procedures, assemble and test products, fault find.
- Take corrective action and advise of findings to staff members to produce products which conform to relevant electronic standards and external test house standards.
- Liaison with manufacturing staff regarding the preparation of goods for shipping in accordance with company processes.
- Repair of products that have failed test or are not built to IPC-A-610 Standards.

Your Experience and Education include:
- Working in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and follow clear assembly instructional from a manual.
- Ability to Inspect electronics to IPC-A610 helpful, but not essential.
- Soldering iron skills to repair and replace components helpful, but not essential.
- Good hand/eye coordination to build assemblies.
