The Inside Sales Representative for the HID handheld RFID reader business at Technology Solutions Ltd. (TSL) shall support the ‘day to day’ customer responses required and coordinate internally at TSL with other staff to get products sent out of the door.


This role will be based on site and you will be liaising with all the other team members in assisting in  taking orders, putting them on the systems ,shipping daily, supporting  fulfilling orders, and shipping paperwork to get orders out 


Ideally, the individual chosen for this key role will have excellent attention to detail,  strong time management skills and work closely with the regional sales manager(s) to acquire new business.

The Position:


This Inside Sales Representative takes responsibility for replying to new enquirers i.e. monitoring the mailbox and providing the first responses to the enquirer as well as processing simple deals and assist the TSL Regional Sales Manager(s) and TSL Leadership in their sales related tasks.


Experience of using SAGE 50/200, international shipping processes and product knowledge is strongly desired, as well as the ability to conduct customer calls and record sales activities in order to achieve set goals.




As our Inside Sales Representative, you’ll support HID’s success by: 


  • Monitor the enquiries mailbox and act as first responder to requests
  • Prepare product information and quotes to prospects and customers
  • Assist the TSL regional sales manager(s) and leadership in sales related tasks
  • Initial qualification of leads e.g. completing details on customer, project size, timing etc. before passing on the most relevant leads to regional sales for follow-up
  • Preparation of proposal documents to customers
  • Produce labells , Sticking them to the boxes and meet with the courier for collection 
  • Handling order processing and shipping
  • Collaborate with other inside Sales Teams of HID on common processes
  • Attend product trainings/webinars as assigned
  • Support trade fair preparations with sample preparation, lead processing etc.
  • Directly and collaboratively with HID Marketing, drive incremental revenue through current customer base as needed

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing. Additional languages are an advantage.
  • Responsive to inquiries from customers, (potential) partners, or other business community members.
  • Ability to communicate in professional manner with the Sales team, Business Development Team, Product Marketing, and other departments within HID.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.
  • Familiar with Windows operating system.
  • Familiarity with SAGE50/200
  • Flexible and highly motivated, pro-active & self-autonomous.
  • Good planning, organizational capabilities.
  • Focused on customer needs and satisfaction in creating added value.
  • Ability to remain calm and collected when dealing with difficult or upset customers or high workload.




Your Qualifications and Experience include: 


  • Minimum 3 years work experience in a similar role, preferably in a technology company.
  • Experience in selling into Distributors, VARs and Integrators.
  • An understanding of RFID technologies with a focus on the RFID reader and tag business, including technical understanding of LF, HF, UHF, BLE is of advantage.
  • Experience with CRM systems, especially Salesforce is a plus
