CNC Brake Press Operative
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and set up CNC brake press machines
- Accurately bend and form steel components to specification
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical instructions
- Select correct tooling and machine settings for each job
- Perform quality checks to ensure precision and consistency
- Work to production targets and deadlines
- Maintain a safe and organised work environment
- Support continuous improvement within the fabrication team
Essential:
- Previous experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment (min 3 years).
- Working knowledge of PUWER and its application to the safe use of work equipment.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Knowledge and/or experience working with steel or sheet metal
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good understanding of health & safety in a manufacturing environment

Working Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday–Thursday 7am–4pm, Friday 7am–12 noon
