Custom Sales Representative

 

This position requires you to meet our customers, discover their needs, educate them within our solution set, and drive revenue. These customers are repeat customers and have been with Pedestal PRO for years. They value certain products within our offering but need to be informed about our entire product portfolio and be advised by you on how our entire solution set can solve more of their problems. You will be responsible for all account activities including quotes, order processing, shipping docs, invoicing, and more. 25% of your job will be order entry, 25% will be collaborating with other teams as they design, engineer, build, and finish your customers project, the other 50% will be communicating with our customers through various channels to answer their questions and offer support.

 

You’ll need to be good at handling several computer systems on multiple screens to perform certain tasks including educating customers/prospects, entering PO's, building quotes, processing returns, posting invoices, sending credit memos, tracking order processing from start to finish, and adding new customers to our database. Our current systems include phone/chat/email, additional web tools, and Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Business Central/Dynamics 365. These customer interactions will require extreme attention to detail, impeccable organizational skills, and effective prioritization. It is a major plus for us if you have related experience in either the low voltage/security industry or high voltage electrical industry (EV Charging). As part of a small team, your attitude, reliability, and skills will make a big impact.

 

You will be responsible for revenue growth. You will need to attend weekly team trainings to cross pollinate best practices and to discover recommendations that can be escalated to company leadership. You will need to practice the highest levels of customer service and meet customer satisfaction standards. You will have the opportunity to see the effect you are having on the entire business operation. You may be asked to contribute to new system integration, special projects, and other important needs of the business. Attention to detail, forward thinking, self-motivation, positive attitude, and reliability are all a must.

  • Become proficient in all our systems and become expert in Microsoft Business Central/Dynamics 365 and CRM
