We are seeking a Mobile Access Project Manager to work in collaboration with the sales organization particularly with Sales Professionals and Customer Success Specialists during the sales process and all the way through to post implementation of the Mobile Access Solution.
The ideal candidate should enjoy working on a remote team and with multiple account managers, partners, and end customers throughout Europe. Is a motivated, hard-working team player with initiative and able to self-manage showing initiative and capable of communicating at all levels of an organization. As well as a willingness to learn and develop knowledge concerning the Mobile Services delivered while ensuring client satisfaction during the Services contact period. This role is fully remote and open to UK‑based candidates.

Essential Duties:
Project Planning & Execution:
- Develop detailed project plans for the end-to-end delivery of mobile identity solutions, outlining timelines, resource allocation, and key deliverables.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring that scope, budget, and schedule are aligned with business goals.
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across departments (e.g., technology, product, security, compliance) to align on project objectives and deliverables.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all mobile identity-related projects, ensuring clear communication with internal teams, senior leadership, and external partners.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and potential roadblocks.
Contract Management :
- Manage End-Customer and Purchasing Customer relationships including NPS scores.
- Assist Customers with Renewal queries and provide monthly business reviews on Renewals and Acceleration.
- Generate and manage monthly acceleration and renewal campaigns.
- Drive and conduct demos and training for new onboarded End Customers when required.
- Assist internal Teams with Mobile Subscription Orders and manage Contract Management on behalf of HID.
Mobile Identity Solution Delivery:
- Oversee the delivery of mobile identity services such as biometric authentication, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and secure digital identity verification processes.
- Ensure that mobile identity solutions are designed and implemented in a secure, scalable, and user-friendly manner.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure that integration with existing platforms, APIs, and mobile frameworks is seamless.
Quality Assurance & Testing:
- When Solutions are in pre-launch mode, contribute to mobile identity solutions testing including functional, security, and performance testing.
- Coordinate with quality assurance teams to track and resolve issues before deployment.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure feedback loops are in place for continuous improvement.
Performance Monitoring & Post-Launch Support:
- Track the performance of deployed mobile identity solutions using defined metrics such as user adoption, authentication success rates, and security incidents.
- Establish support and maintenance processes to ensure post-launch monitoring, bug fixes, and enhancements.
- Lead project retrospectives to identify lessons learned and continuous improvement opportunities
- Serve as customer advocate who speak on our customers’ behalf to Product and Engineering management for issue escalations or feature requests captured during client sessions.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Certifications in project management methodologies (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) are preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years focused on mobile technology or digital identity solutions.
- Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget.
- Experience managing mobile identity projects, including mobile authentication, digital verification, and identity management platforms.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with mobile development platforms (iOS, Android) and identity-related technologies such as biometrics, MFA, and OAuth.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
- Understanding of security protocols and standards related to mobile identity (e.g., FIDO, SAML, OpenID).
Strong Skills
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical issues into clear, actionable insights.
- Proactive problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and influence without direct authority.
- Knowledge or experience in Access Control Market preferred.
Favorable Skills
- Understanding of Physical Access control systems, protocol, and formats.
- An understanding of (some of the following) system and network components such as Operating Systems, LDAP, Databases, Web applications, network protocols (SSL/TLS, VPN, RADIUS), PACS, network security (firewalls, DMZ), PKI, Smart Cards, and virtual credentials.
- IoT protocol experience (such as Bluetooth, MQTT, TCP/IP).
- Cyber Security framework experience (NIST, OWASP, Common Criteria and TÜV IT).
- Security framework experience (ANSSI, BSI, NIST, OWASP, Common Criteria, etc.)
- Understanding of Cloud Computing.
