PIM Solution Architect

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is looking for an experienced and innovative PIM Solution Architect to join our Information Solutions team in Landskrona, Sweden. In this key role, you will lead the design, integration, and optimization of our Akeneo Product Information Management (PIM) system, ensuring efficient product data governance and smooth connectivity across our enterprise landscape. What you will do as our PIM Solution Architect

As our PIM Solution Architect, you will take ownership of defining and maintaining the overall architecture for our PIM solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT strategy. You’ll drive the integration between PIM and other key platforms such as ERP, PLM, CRM, AEM, and Adobe Commerce, enabling a unified and efficient product data ecosystem. Also, you will define and maintain the PIM architecture, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and high-performing as long as Leading the integration efforts between PIM and other enterprise systems to ensure smooth data flow and consistency.

You would also:

  • Design and oversee data models, taxonomy, and attribute structures supporting product data enrichment and publishing.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks for data quality, consistency, and compliance across channels.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications and system designs.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring best practices and architectural integrity.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend continuous improvements to optimize efficiency and reliability.

 

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who has:

  • 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, with at least 2 years focused on PIM systems.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more PIM platforms (e.g., Akeneo, inRiver, ContentServ, Syndigo).
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, APIs, and system integration patterns.
  • Experience working with cloud environments (preferably Azure) and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

The ideal candidate is analytical, structured, and self-driven, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. You are equally comfortable working hands-on with integrations as you are discussing high-level architectural strategy with business stakeholders.
