As our Head Marketing & Product Management BSI Europe you are responsible for leading the commercial and marketing strategy for BSI Europe, ensuring alignment with growth and profitability targets. This role requires a strategic and results-oriented leader who combines marketing excellence with strong business acumen to drive brand preference, market share, and revenue growth across the region. The position will focus on customer-centric marketing, digital transformation, and commercial optimization — ensuring that every marketing initiative contributes directly to business outcomes.

 

You will report directly to the VP BSI Europe, and be part of an experienced, forward-thinking team with a strong passion for growing business.

 

Role Summary:  

The Marketing Director is responsible for leading the commercial and marketing strategy for BSI Europe, ensuring alignment with growth and profitability targets. This role requires a strategic and results-oriented leader who combines marketing excellence with strong business acumen to drive brand preference, market share, and revenue growth across the region.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
  • Conduct market and customer insight analysis (VOC, NPS, win/loss, segmentation) to identify growth opportunities and shape go-to-market strategies.
  • Translate customer and market insights into actionable strategies for pricing, product, and sales.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, R&D, and operations, to align marketing and sales goals.
  • Oversee product marketing, lifecycle management, and launch activities for key product categories.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives across marketing, leveraging data analytics, automation, and CRM/BI tools to enhance lead generation and conversion.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Business Units to drive lead generation, account-based marketing, and commercial excellence.
  • Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Foster knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the European marketing organization.
  • Develop and oversee marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective strategies that maximize ROI.
  • Oversee the development of marketing materials and campaigns in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a team of marketing and product management professionals.
  • Execute product leadership with the primary goal of driving profitable growth by:
    • Increasing existing sales revenue and profit margin
    • Supporting sales activities

 

Previous experience, Key Competencies and education:

  • At least seven years of experience in a comparable role, ideally within the industrial sector, with a demonstrated ability to deliver strong results.
  • A solid track record of developing and executing marketing strategies that drive sales growth, support successful product launches, and accelerate market expansion. .
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing cross-functional and multi-national teams.
  • Change management experience and proven cultural awareness 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in product launches and in dealing with supplier and operational quality issues in an engineering environment
  • Strong background in financial analysis and budgeting. Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Experience in managing complex product management in a decentralized environment or matrix organization
  • Experience in a multinational company would be an advantage
  • Ability to make informed, data-driven decisions and resolve conflicts
  • Good understanding in pricing
  • Educated to Degree level. Post-graduate qualification or master’s in business administration or Master of Science desirable

 

Other requirements:

  • English, other European language is a benefit.
  • Prepared to travel extensively within Europe
