What would you do as our Financial Controller
The Financial Controller plays a key role within the Entrance Systems Division Finance Team, supporting accurate monthly financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, and planning processes across more than 170 legal entities in over 30 countries. The role works closely with local finance teams to secure strong internal controls, ensure compliance with policies and accounting standards, and contribute to ongoing projects such as acquisitions and integrations. This position operates in a global environment and requires strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders. The role reports to the Director of Financial Control and is based in Landskrona/Malmö, with some international travel required.
You would also:
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly financial reporting and consolidation for the Entrance Systems Division.
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, planning processes, and support ad hoc financial projects including acquisition integrations.
- Support and strengthen internal control processes across more than 170 legal entities in 30+ countries.
- Provide training and guidance to local finance organisations on accounting policies, group rules, and internal control requirements.
- Collaborate with global finance teams and contribute to process improvement initiatives in an international environment requiring some travel.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who has:
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a similar field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in finance or controlling, preferably from a multinational company or an audit firm.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to quickly learn new financial systems and tools.
- Experience working with strict deadlines, financial reporting, and consolidation processes.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, suitable for a global organization.
This role requires a highly motivated team player with strong analytical abilities, a structured way of working, and high attention to detail. The Financial Controller must be comfortable coordinating with multiple stakeholders across different countries and cultures and be able to handle complex information in a fast-paced environment. Strong collaboration skills, curiosity, and the ability to take ownership are essential, as well as the confidence to guide and support local finance teams on accounting and internal control matters.
