Test Automation Engineering Intern

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Test Automation Intern to join our dynamic Quality Assurance team. As a QA Automation Intern, you will be assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of automated testing solutions for our software products. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and gain hands-on experience in the field of software quality assurance and automation.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with the QA team to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts on LFK fixtures.
2. Assist in maintaining and updating test cases, test scripts.
3. Work closely with developers to understand product features and requirements for automation.
4. Help with setting up and configuring test environments for automated tests in INT and QA env’s.
5. Participate in the analysis of test results, identifying defects, and ensuring that issues are tracked and resolved.
6. Participate in agile sprint cycles and attend daily stand-ups to report progress.
7. Learn and adapt to new automation tools and technologies.

Education and Experience Profile

1. Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#.
3. Knowledge of cloud-based IoT platforms ex: AWS
4. Understanding of software development and software testing principles.
5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Basic understanding of testing methodologies.
7. Exposure to automation tools Ex:  Selenium, Appium or similar
8. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
