Test Automation Engineering Intern
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Test Automation Intern to join our dynamic Quality Assurance team. As a QA Automation Intern, you will be assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of automated testing solutions for our software products. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and gain hands-on experience in the field of software quality assurance and automation.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the QA team to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts on LFK fixtures.
- Assist in maintaining and updating test cases, test scripts.
- Work closely with developers to understand product features and requirements for automation.
- Help with setting up and configuring test environments for automated tests in INT and QA env’s.
- Participate in the analysis of test results, identifying defects, and ensuring that issues are tracked and resolved.
- Participate in agile sprint cycles and attend daily stand-ups to report progress.
- Learn and adapt to new automation tools and technologies.
Education and Experience Profile
- Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#.
- Knowledge of cloud-based IoT platforms ex: AWS
- Understanding of software development and software testing principles.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Basic understanding of testing methodologies.
- Exposure to automation tools Ex: Selenium, Appium or similar
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
