Product Marketing Intern

 

Job Summary

This role is responsible for assisting the product marketing team in current initiatives. This individual will have the opportunity to experience various aspects of marketing while working for a global consumer products company.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with Brand Marketing, Channel Marketing and Sales to execute marketing plan initiatives
  • Supporting product road development, manages research initiatives to establish fact based business and marketing strategy development
  • Prepare Creative Requests and to manage packaging and other NPI related materials
  • Coordinate meeting materials for customer product collaboration, line reviews and business reviews. 
  • Support the management of the on-line databases to ensure proper content
  • Process Creative Work Orders for Sales and Marketing Requests
  • Support Kwikset Data Analysis

 

Education and Experience Profile

  • Previous internship or related experience in marketing or communications is a plus
  • Completed or working toward a college degree, preferably in Marketing \ Business
  • Ideal candidate is in their Senior year and able to work 25+ hours per week

 

Required Skills

  • Computer literate on all major business software packages
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills
  • Effective communicator, both written and oral.
  • Strong emphasis on achieving commitments.
  • Self-motivated to multi-task and meet deadlines assigned
  • Prioritizes those projects that will maximize benefit to the organization.
  • Operates with a sense of urgency; identifies opportunities and acts quickly to achieve results.

 

Work Environment:

Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

Hybrid work schedule (in office required Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
