Pricing and Analytics Specialist
Job Summary
The Pricing and Analytics Specialist is responsible for executing data-driven pricing strategies that align with our business goals. This role combines analytical expertise and strategic thinking to optimize revenue, profitability, and market competitiveness. This role requires collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze pricing performance, evaluate market trends, and recommend actionable strategies to leadership. Additionally, this role is responsible for designing pricing models, implementing tools, and establishing processes to ensure consistent and impactful pricing decisions. This is a high-impact position for a professional who thrives on turning data into actionable insights to drive growth.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Data Analytics
- Develop pricing models and frameworks to enhance revenue and profitability.
- Analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends and to understand pricing performance, profitability, and elasticity.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of promotions, including ROI and pricing elasticity.
- Build pricing simulations, scenario models, and dashboards to evaluate the impact of pricing changes.
- Collaborate with finance and sales teams to gather data and insights.
- Promotion effective analysis, inclusive of ROI calculations and elasticity
- Process and Tool Implementation
- Build and maintain pricing tools and dashboards.
- Introduce or manage pricing tools, software, and automation solutions.
- Establish pricing governance, approval workflows, and performance tracking mechanisms.
- Market Research
- Conduct competitive pricing analysis to identify market trends and pricing opportunities and conduct competitive benchmarking
- Assess customer willingness-to-pay through surveys, A/B tests, and behavioral data.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align pricing strategies with business objectives.
- Partner with sales, marketing, and product teams to align pricing strategies with go-to-market efforts.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Education and Experience Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, data science, or a related field
- Advanced degree (MBA, master’s in analytics) is a plus but not required
- 3-5+ years’ experience in pricing, analytics, or strategy-related role.
- Experience with Python and SQL required
Required Skills
- Strong quantitative skills, proficiency in statistical methods, and familiarity with pricing elasticity and profitability modeling.
- Strategic Thinking and Planning capability and experience: ability to see the big picture and connect pricing decision to broader business goals.
- Experience in pricing tools (e.g., PROS, Vendavo, Zilliant, Python) and analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL).
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook) with emphasis on Excel
- Demonstrated ability to influence pricing decisions and drive measurable results.
- Proven ability to present complex data insights and strategies to diverse audiences.
- Thrives in fast-paced environments and can juggle multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to autonomously set your own goals, priorities, timelines, and measure successes, all in keeping with ASSA ABLOY strategic initiatives.

Work Environment:
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
- Occasional travel as needed for conferences, trainings, or key meetings.
Pay Range: $88,000 to $125,000.
This “base salary range” is a reasonable estimate for this position at the time of posting. Pay within each range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to primary work job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
