Graphic Designer
Job Summary
This position will work directly with the marketing and sales managers to conceptualize and complete sales and marketing materials such as product catalogs, promotional materials, packaging, web content, POP collateral, and trade show marketing. This position requires a keen eye for design to establish brand identities that truly reflect the quality and positioning of our products. Working at the intersection of high-end design and cutting-edge technology, the role will help craft masterpieces that not only redefine luxury in the residential home industry but also embody our commitment to safety and accessibility.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver marketing materials
- Ensure creative materials delivered on-time and with excellence
- Develop and deliver pre-production assets for creative execution
- Ensure creative and brand consistency across each marketing touch points for brands
- Create concepts for product launches and redesigns
- Evaluate printer’s proofs and approve final production artwork.
- Maintain visual asset database of creative materials developed
- Ensure brand standards and consistency amongst all brands
- Maintain artwork task tracking within our management software
- Clearly communicating, relaying and receiving critical information related to production.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining design and production templates
- Assist in managing the (planning, scheduling, processing) of art, working closely with other team members to produce highly effective art that is production ready in a timely and efficient manner.
- Design marketing materials for a variety of different needs: Web, Email Campaigns, Social, Postcards, banners, Ads, etc.
Education and Experience Profile
- Associates or Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Graphic Design and/or Multimedia
- 3+ years relevant experience graphic design
- Formal training in graphic design, typography, interaction design and/or visual communications
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Required Skills
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative and innovative design projects
- Extensive working knowledge of the latest leading design software & Creative Cloud (Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
- Understanding of design principles and best practices to ensure working efficiencies and work quality
- Credibility and clarity in communications, written and verbal
- Highly collaborative and team-oriented
- Detail oriented, highly organized and a keen eye for consistency
- Ability to function and operate closely with others, cross functionally. Such as weekly tracking meetings, Sales Account prep meeting, and Trade Show prep meetings
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Understanding of production design process to ensure working efficiencies and work quality
- Self-motivated to stay informed and up-to-date on current/future digital trends and AI tools.
