Creative Marketing Intern

     

 

Job Summary

This role is responsible for assisting the Creative Marketing team with current initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience in brand design, digital content creation, packaging and print collateral, and end-to-end creative workflows within a global consumer products company. To be considered for this role, you must provide a link to your design portfolio.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and produce digital marketing assets, including enhanced product galleries, social media graphics, and web banners
  • Assist in creating visual content for campaigns, presentations, and internal communications
  • Help design and update printed materials such as print catalogs, sell sheets, and product packaging for major retail stores such as Home Depot and Lowes
  • Collaborate with the creative team to ensure brand consistency across all design deliverables
  • Learn and utilize Workfront for project tracking, proofing, and workflow management
  • Utilize AI tools to discover opportunities and optimize creative content and consumer conversion
  • Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and contribute design ideas
  • Assist with product photography retouching to align with brand standards

Education and Experience Profile

  • Previous internship or related experience in graphic design or marketing is a plus
  • Completed or working toward a college degree, preferably in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or Business Marketing
  • The ideal candidate is currently in their senior year and able to commit to 25+ hours per week

 

Required Skills

  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign (must provide a link to a design portfolio)
  • Computer literate on all major business software packages
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills
  • Effective communicator, both written and oral
  • Strong emphasis on achieving commitments
  • Self-motivated to multi-task and meet deadlines assigned
  • Prioritizes those projects that will maximize benefit to the organization
  • Operates with a sense of urgency; identifies opportunities and acts quickly to achieve results
