Business Unit Manager Senior Care Netherlands

We are now seeking a transformational and pragmatic leader to take on the role of Business Unit Manager in the Netherlands – someone ready to integrate, reshape, and grow our local business.

 

About the role

This is a unique opportunity to lead a business through change. As Business Unit Manager, you will take full P&L ownership of our Senior Care operations in the Netherlands, and manage the integration of two entities. Your mission will be to build a high-performing, unified organization – one that thrives on accountability, team spirit and customer focus. You will drive both structural and cultural transformation while ensuring commercial performance and operational excellence. Reporting to the SVP and Global Head of Senior Care, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our Dutch operations and contributing to the broader success of our global Senior Care business.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the transformation and integration of two existing organizations into one strong, cohesive unit with a clear culture, structure, and purpose.
  • Build a values-driven culture rooted in collaboration, ownership, and engagement – ensuring team members feel empowered, connected, and proud.
  • Identify and implement pragmatic efficiency improvements across operations, processes, and ways of working.
  • Drive standardization of product and service offerings and customer contracts to improve scalability and profitability.
  • Ensure commercial success by strengthening customer relationships, optimizing the offering, and actively pursuing growth opportunities.
  • Own the P&L, budgeting and forecasting processes, securing financial control and sustainable growth.
  • Act as a visible and inspiring leader – setting direction while staying close to the day-to-day, ensuring follow-through and accountability.

 

Who we’re looking for

You are a hands-on, change-oriented leader with a strong commercial mindset. You thrive in complex environments, enjoy creating order from ambiguity, and are passionate about building high-performing teams and resilient organizations.

 

Your profile

  • Extensive leadership experience in a general management role with full P&L responsibility.
  • Proven success leading business transformation and cultural change.
  • Experience from service-intensive operations (e.g. technical service, call center or customer support environments).
  • Commercially driven with a clear focus on growth, customer value and operational effectiveness.
  • Experience from post-merger integration and/or international matrix organizations is highly desirable.
  • University degree in a relevant field.
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365; familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
