As our Sales Engineer, you’ll support HID’s success by:
The Sales Engineer team provides customers with services such as:
- Product presentations
- Product demonstrations in virtual and portable environments
- Technical tender responses and other documentation
- Technology assessments and advice
- Discovery Workshops and Proof of Concept Deployments
Mission - Support Sales generating demand and closing business
- Support Demand Generation

- Provide technical input to different activities to help generate more pipeline through new route/ new geos to market, which including,
- Ad-hoc Partner support
- Regular Partner Technical Education
- Access Control Solution enablement
- New production and solution onboarding,..
- Global Marcom event support
- Regional sales event support
- System Integrator Training
- End-User Project Support
Drive the technical aspects of end-user project directly from initiation phase through to completion
- Project Qualification assistance
- Tender and RFQ assistance
- Design validation and prototyping
- Onsite Proof of concept & Pilot execution
- Technical fulfillment
- Rollout assistance
- Strategic issue resolution
- Sales Admin Assistance
Provide ad-hoc technical assistance to the sales process
- Part Number Creation
- Qualification assistance
- Sales internal training
- Order fulfillment Assistance
- Technology onboarding
- Order delivery issue assistance
- Consultants Specifier
Collaborate with HID Consulting practice to support Specifier education effort.
- Assist consultant group with their events
- Support enquiries through consultant communities
- Assist regional channel sales with local consultant events
Your Experience and Background include:
- Ability to effectively communicate in English and Japanese language verbally and in writing.
- BEng or BSc in electronics or a similar technical subject plus a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a first line technical or applications support role.
- Physical access control systems experience is highly desirable.
- Experience of Low Voltage Systems (CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Intruder Alarm, Public address, IP Intercom system, Car Parking solutions, Mobile Solutions)
- Excellent IT skills
- Expertise in integration with third party Building sub systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills
- Fluent with any other Asian language is a plus
