What You'll Do
- Edge Platform Ownership: Design, develop, maintain, and evolve an edge gateway platform that enables cloud-connected services and future AI-driven capabilities.
- Shape Architecture: Contribute to architecture decisions, technology selection, and technical roadmaps to ensure long-term sustainability.
- Platform Excellence: Ensure reliability, scalability, security, and observability across distributed edge deployments.
- Problem Solving: Analyse and resolve complex technical challenges across Linux, networking, services, and cloud integration layers.
- Collaborate & Integration: Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, and Engineering teams to define requirements, enable agent integration, and deliver platform enhancements.
What You Bring
- University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Several years of hands-on experience in software engineering, with a focus on system programming or platform development
- Strong proficiency in modern programming languages, preferably Java, GoLang, or Rust
- Solid experience with Linux-based systems and containerization technologies, particularly Docker
- Familiarity with AI-assisted software development practices and tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of critical components, and drive initiatives to completion
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills in an international, cross-functional environment

We offer a competitive salary based on your qualifications and professional experience. The minimum salary for this position according to the collective agreement is EUR 2,879.00 gross per month on a full-time basis. Of course, your actual salary will be adjusted in line with the market based on your qualifications.
