PURPOSE OF THE ROLE |
The Tele Sales Assistant is to identify the sales gaps and prospecting sales opportunities by cold calling and touching base with previous customers
RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES |
Cold Calling
Initiate outbound calls to potential clients and customers to introduce our products/services, generate new business, and drive sales.
Customer Engagement
Reconnect with previous customers to identify sales gaps, offer new solutions, and explore opportunities for repeat business.
Lead Generation
Research and identify potential leads in various markets to help expand our customer base.
Sales Prospecting
Qualify prospects and establish a pipeline for future sales, while building and maintaining positive customer relationships.
Reporting
Keep accurate records of outreach efforts, sales activities, and customer interactions.
Collaboration
Work closely with the sales team to ensure targets and goals are achieved and contribute to the overall success of the department.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE |
Essential Qualification
- Grade 12
Experience and Competencies
- 1 to 2 years’ working experience within a sales environment preferable
- MS Office (email, word, excel)
- Strong phone presence with a positive and professional attitude
- Ability to identity opportunities and build rapport with customers
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and prospecting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
