Technical Supervisor

Location:

  • Johannesburg

 

You are a team player for working to solve a problem and you can work without supervision as many tasks are performed on site.

You are good at managing many problems at a time and you are efficient with time management.

You have good coordination skills, and you are customer oriented.

 

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Manage team of technicians
  • Manage all projects
  • Schedule resources for installations of new projects and upgrades
  • Site visits (where possible) once a week to all ongoing projects
  • Perform signoffs with client upon project completion
  • Perform training for clients
  • Attend all site meetings
  • Maintain SOPs
  • Generate accurate reports for clients
  • Assist with more complicated problems
  • Manage sub-contractors on all projects
  • Maintain EWorks Manager (Internal CRM tool)
  • Do one on one meetings with technicians
  • Ensure appropriate service/ installation centre standards are developed and maintained
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, quality results are met.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with customers. Assist clients in resolving high visibility problem cases and issues
  • Ensure compliance with safety, security, regulatory, and company policies
  • Weekly and Monthly reporting as requested by line manager
  • Any other activities and new initiatives which enhance the development & growth of the AAGS brands

Experience:

  • 5 years’ experience in the Hospitality industry
  • 2 years Project management
  • Health and Safety experience  
  • Computer Literate
  • A CRM knowledge and an experience in Access control systems would be a plus.
  • You may be required to occasionally work outside of normal working hours

  • Ability to work under pressure and travel. You may be required to sleep out occasionally

  • Good knowledge of hospitality industry
  • Technical acumen (Basic networking knowledge, understanding of jargon & comfortable with installation & set-up programs
