Purpose of the role:

e-Business is recognized as a key growth driver for ASSA ABLOY, covering all digital touch points along an integrated customer journey. This includes customer experience, design, digital marketing, e-commerce on owned and 3rd party sites, customer service and technical support, data and analytics. We are looking for an Ecommerce Manager to develop and rollout the regions e-Business strategy with focus on Yale brand as first step. The job holder will be required to deliver the strategy and national growth plan. The role will deploy the e-Business strategy in the market region, implementing platforms and tools including analytics, growing the online presence and sales through own - and third-party e-shops. In this role, you can expect to communicate with colleagues around the region on a daily basis and divisional teams as well.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Translate divisional plan into regional strategy, defining implementation plan, targets and KPIs.
  • Ownership of strategy, activation, content and technology platform to enable e-Business and drive e-commerce sales performance.
  • Implement go-to-market strategies and plans to accelerate adoption of e-tools, acting as a change agent to develop the business.
  • Work closely with the rest of the Retail Team and Product Management as well as Marketing to define & implement sales strategy in different channels.
  • Develop and implement a roadmap for the online store, with focus on marketing and promotional calendar.
  • Coordinate marketing and social media campaigns over digital platforms in collaboration with marcom team, with updates around product launches, collaborations, selling reports.
  • Responsible for regular reporting on website & marketplace performance and customer experience metrics Responsible for optimizations to navigation, collections, search, and homepage.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and site benchmarks.
  • Responsible for the creation, maintenance, and optimization of product listings across third-party marketplaces and owned e-commerce platforms, ensuring compliance with platform requirements, accurate product information, pricing, imagery, and digital assets. Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns across marketplace platforms.

 

 

Professional Qualifications & Experience:

 

  • Minimum Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Marketing degree (preferred)
  • Experience in implementing e-Business strategy and programmes and driving both internal and external adoption.
  • Commercial experience expected with exposure to IT and new technologies desired
  • Good understanding of managing web shop.
  • Good experience in developing and articulating customer journeys.
  • Experience in working in a global organisation
  • Must have excellent written/oral communication and networking skills Driven and pro-active, stays on top of the issues and follows up rigorously.
  • Good team player with a consultative advisory style and experience.
  • Respectful and with high integrity
  • Fluent in English
  • Demonstrated experience managing e-commerce platforms and Content Management Systems (CMS). Experience with Magento is preferred.
