Internal Sales & Technical Support
Purpose of the role:
Purpose of this role is to provide technical support towards customers, sales representatives and managers of ASSA ABLOY. To also apply correct procedures to the role of order capturing to the point of order release to the courier company. To offer the upmost professionalism in all aspects of this role.
Responsibilities:
- To ensure technical support to customers and external representatives (branches and agents)
- To handle any other technical and programming queries
- To proactively manage the orderbook and customer expectations
- To ensure that all data captured is 100% accurate
- To assist with the returns docs and reverse logistics queries
- To notify customers in writing of any discrepancies on orders within 24 hours
- To ensure that customers queries are sorted within 24 hours
- To liase with production regarding the status of customers’ orders and give feedback within 24 hours
- To assist with the reduction of costs
- To liase with dispatch regarding deliveries and any other dispatch related issues
- To prepare all monthly and any other reports as requested by management
- Sending quotations out within 24 hours
- Ensure that ERP procedures and rules are followed
- To ensure that back orders are emailed to customers on a weekly basis, or as and when requested by customers & management.
- To ensure that ALL orders are printed and captured within 24 hours
- To ensure that order acknowledgements are emailed to customers
- To assist with the reduction of slow moving and obsolete stock
- To ensure that all specials are distributed to your customer base
- To provide excellent customer service
- To assist in the increase of sales turnover
- To ensure written proficiency in the English language
- Assisting with customer portal maintenance eg orders, linking of invoices and returns
Professional Qualifications & Experience:
- Matric
- At least two years related technical experience
- A proven track record in internal sales

- Strong computer skills in general
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
