Position Summary:
Actively involved in production man power handling, timely execution of jobs, ensure achieve daily production targets & ensure product must meet quality criteria, actively involved in store management activity.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth execution of production through effective planning, coordination, communication, delegation, supervision, training, hand holding and resolution of technical issues being faced in day to day activities.
- Participate in periodical review meetings with reporting manager and HOD.
- Monitor process performance data and carry out data analysis for non-achievement of targets and initiate suitable corrective actions for sustainable improvements.
- Maintain records of production as required by organization & ensure maintenance of machines.
- Ensure to follow safe work practices.
- Maintain Die, Tools & Machine maintenance history card as per ISO standard.
- Maintain material movement (receiving and submission) activity with Store department and it should be as per daily plan.
- Ensure to achieve Production as per production plan and priorities.
- Ensure to quality of product match with the drawing specification.
- Strictly adhere with production plan.
- Managing Inventory control and On-Time Delivery (OTD).
- To ensure proper housekeeping in the department.
- To ensure the all workmen’s wear personal protective equipment (PPE) while at work.
- To ensure the all workmen’s follow the Environment, Health & Safety policy.
- Maintain a report of daily production and file it into the main database. This data is used by manager to make production decisions.
- Knowledge of defects in Press parts expert to resolve.
Skills & Abilities Required:

- Basic knowledge of Excel, Word, Power point and SAP.
- Basic knowledge of hardware spare parts identification & its uses.
- knowledge of OEE, SMED, 5 “S”, MTPT, OTD, HIRA, SQDC etc.
- Orthographic drawing, symbols & its standard identification skill.
- Team player and able to build and maintain relationships with team.
- Preferred skills- Communication, Delegation, People Management, Leadership, Analytical, Decision making.
- Knowledge: Tool Setting, Machine operation (Press Shop), Awareness of requirements of ISO 9001:2015 QMS, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015.
- Willing to work on the shop floor departments.
- Workable English Communication skills (Writing /Speaking)
- Good problem-solving skill
- Good Analytical skill
- Quick decision maker
- Good drawing reading and GD & T skill.
Education Qualification & Experience required:
-
- Bachlor in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 4 years of experience
- Preferred experience of working in an Automotive/Architectural hardware industries
- Team handling experience will be preferred highly.
