Technical Support Coordinator (m/f/d)

About You:

 

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a technical product support role, with leadership or managerial experience preferred.
  • Education: A degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science) is preferred.
  • Location: Based in or near the Jacksonville area.

 

​​​Technical Skills:

 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and other office applications.
  • In-depth understanding of Android and iOS operating systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of smart devices and applications.
  • Extensive experience in networking and network troubleshooting.

About the Opportunity:

 

  • Leadership Role: Oversee the technical product support team, providing guidance and ensuring high-quality customer support.

  • Customer Support: Manage and provide technical product support to customers via telephone and email.

  • Problem Solving: Apply critical thinking to troubleshoot installation issues and hardware/software performance problems.

  • Mobile App Support: Oversee user-facing support for the DoorBird app on mobile devices.

  • Help Desk Management: Manage and prioritize help desk support requests via an online ticketing system, escalating issues to the engineering team and higher management as necessary.

  • RMA Processing: Supervise the processing of RMA requests and coordinate the issuance of replacements for defective products.

  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team on pre-sales activities, including answering product questions and participating in webinars.
