The Türkiye Group, part of Opening Solutions EMEIA, has approximately 450 employees, with a total P&L of €33M Euros. The region covers Türkiye and CCA region (Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Armenia), with its headquarters in Istanbul. 

 

The role will be responsible for ensuring that the financial reporting and systems are managed in a professional way and timely manner. The incoming CFO will be a key member of the Türkiye and CCA leadership team.

 

Purpose of the role:

Reporting to VP AAOS Türkiye and CCA the incoming CFO will provide support in strategy development, business performance management and capital investment evaluation.  You will also conduct the analysis of Key Performance Indicators of the Türkiye and CCA region and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations in order to initiate improvements to support business development.

 

Principal Responsibilities:

 

  • To be a true business partner to VP Türkiye and CCA
  • To manage financial and administration area
  • To prepare the budgets and forecasts in line with the company’s rule and within the deadlines
  • To oversee short and long-term budgetary planning and costs management in alignment with divisional strategic plans, potential acquisitions and collaborations with other company’s units
  • To ensure quality and in-time reporting and analysis of financial and operational trends, provide regular analysis of KPI´s and initiate improvements
  • To consolidate reports from operational units
  • To maintain the integrity of the financial results and balance sheet accounts
  • To ensure consistency with, and fulfilling of Group and Divisional internal reporting requirements.
  • To make an ERP roadmap and make necessary plans and implementations
  • To coordinate and control cost controlling and pricing strategy in line with ASSA ABLOY methodology
  • To analyze and monitor the investment process
  • To manage the relationship and ensure financial compliance with external authorities (Auditors, tax authorities,..) in all Turkiye Group locations
  • To drive cash flow and debt management together with optimization of working capital
  • To effectively manage the team
  • To be the Compliance Officer for the Turkiye  Group with specific responsibilities for Export Control, Anti Trust and Anti Bribery compliance issues
  • To be responsible for all Legal Issues within the Turkiye Group including the cooperation and coordination with Legal Counsel

Education, Work Experience and Personal Qualities

  • University degree in financial management.
  • A minimum of 10 years broad-based experience with at least 5 years experience in a senior finance role. Specific experience working with multinational teams in Eastern Europe is desired.
  • Experience in finance management and controlling in manufacturing companies.
  • Experience in managing international team.
  • Self-organized, accountable, structured and target driven approach
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including Power Point, MS Excel.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Windows Office.
  • Prepared to travel extensively within the region and occasionally outside of it.
  • Excellent English and native Turkish.
